?

I’d say NP, honestly, from what I can see.

Pretty sure I’d give them some crack pipes for this.

“More information can be available upon request.”

We may or may not have more information, but feel free to ask. Maybe you’ll be pleasantly surprised. Maybe we will be, too. That’s the beauty of life.

That is a very strange car. And not so cracky, says I.

Not so cracky. I wouldn’t want it, but $11 grand doesn’t seem to crazy. I could see 6 or 7.

It’s not my cup of tea either (gimme an Eldo Biarritz), but if it’s really rust free as it appears to be (from what I can tell), I would think it’s worth the whole $11k.

A rust-free, clean, air conditioned Sedan DeVille from ‘61 would be into the $20's, I believe.

Price seems fair assuming there’s no major issues

I think I’d give it a NP vote myself. I think it’s interesting enough that you should submit it to the FP to see if they use it for NP/CP.

What you can’t see from the pics is whether there’s any Bondo...

Yeah, you can never buy a car this old without inspecting it up close, period.

Usually if it looks cheap (and this one does to my eye) there is a reason - and bondo is that reason.

I saw a kid with a car that looked really great until you got within 20 feet of it and could see that it had 80 pounds of Bondo on it. But he liked it and I didn’t wanna ruin his vibe.

Ha - I went to a Mecum auction locally last fall, and had a great time.

When you see those cars that go across the block and the bidding stops oddly low? Yeah, there’s a reason for that. There were some gorgeous 20 footers that sold dirt cheap — because they were rust buckets under the fresh paint and bondo.
